- cognitive enhancers: timo talking about a call for more effort in producing effective cognitive enhancers. it’s a problem i guess because cognition isn’t problematised… unless it’s a condition, pharma can’t do medical trials about it. like viagra only becomes marketworthy once “erectile dysfunction” as been invented as a symptom. the brain fitness stuff will help… but i’d prefer that we don’t shoehorn enhancements into the symptom bucket but acknowledged it as a new category.
