into web services ... it just sounds foolish after alan kay. like all these
problems we're solving are because our basic assumptions are rubbish.]

making more personalised interfaces, making applications easier to build.

why is it we can't use web applications with subsecond responses, repaint the
screen like a dumb terminal? and if you're offline you can't get to them!
