some people say: we need golden bandwidth. pay for high quality, fast bandwidth.
bad idea. also fault tolerant server, redundant network paths.

[and thinking back to the first session, it's bad because it's not a way of
layering reliability on unreliability. it's just trying to reduce the
unreliability.]

alternatives: raid for ip? commodity hardware. cheap servers, cheap bandwidth,
smart software.
