Transhuman media and physics


I hadn't realised how much my thoughts about transhuman media were being
governed by physics.

There's a scale with the leptons where the particles get progressively
heavier, with greater energies, but they're still just as fundamental.

electron -> pi-meson -> tau-meson
[or something]
and those feel like the three waves of media to me.

But there's a parallel universe maybe, the anti-particles
positron -> etc
and those are the social particles, for social media.

Then again, I think about the social media like exchange bosons. If all
the people constantly swap particles that carry momentum of a certain
kind (negative in this case), they'll all be pulled inwards.


Or maybe it's more like quarks where everything is paired and keep on
getting more energy:
up/down
strange/charmed
top/bottom
where the first in the pair are interpersonal and the second are social.


The third wave of media are the higher particles.


I think what I'm saying here is that the media are like particles in
that they all interact in certain ways and converge and change, and
that's how I've been thinking of them.. for the traditional media, with
the spoken word as the base electron
BUT
there's a whole other system, an antimatter universe, with it's parallel
laws and systems of interaction, that very rarely crosses into the
matter universe. This is the positron universe, the one of social media,
and the feeling of realising this is the feeling of realising IT'S ALL
THE SAME BUT DIFFERENT, like matter and antimatter.
