Fun with projectors and video calls, May 2020

By “awesome” I mean absurd. I’m drawing on an iPad and it’s appearing around my head.

These are from the other day. IT IS WEIRD TO USE

Here are the components:

• I’m taking the call on my laptop, over the top of which you can see a projector...

• the projector is pointed over the laptop at my face and the wall behind, taking its picture from an Apple TV

• I am drawing on an iPad which is screen mirroring to the Apple TV

If I was clever I would have figured out how to do this in software using a virtual webcam. But as it is, I’m precariously balancing my projector on an ironing board :shrug:
